What's coaching?

This is a common question.

Coaching is an intentional conversation in which the coach uses inquiry and feedback to support self-directed learning, increased self-awareness, and enhanced capacity to thrive. Coaches commit "to partner with [the client] in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires [the client] to maximize [the client's] personal and professional potential". 


According to the International Coach Federation (ICF), coaching offers “fresh perspectives on personal challenges, enhanced decision-making skills, greater interpersonal effectiveness, and increased confidence.” The ICF also states, "Those who undertake coaching also can expect appreciable improvement in productivity, satisfaction with life and work, and the attainment of relevant goals".

I specialize in evoking transformation in clients as individuals and as leaders. As your coach, I will push you outside your comfort zone in service of your own growth. I will hold you accountable to your goals, reflect back what I see, and create a supportive space for you to explore what's possible.

I only ask that you have a personal desire and willingness to bring your full, reflective self to exploring new thoughts and behaviors.

What's the format?

Most of my clients have 30-minute sessions taking place every week or every other week for six months or more.
